1997 ERFURT 1997

 

14th Bundesvolkstanztreffen

             The 14th Federal German Folk Dance Festival in Erfurt, Thüringen was held in 1997.   Our Federation was represented by dancers from Virginia, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Indiana, Colorado, Ohio, New York, and Ontario, Canada.  We presented a program of American dances as all foreign groups had been requested to present dances from their country of residence. 

 

 

 

Participating groups performed at various public sites of the town.

The evening program consisted of communal dancing.

The following dances were learned by all participants.
